When it is a student's turn to present, they will receive three different pitch cards from the judge. They will select one pitch idea and will have two minutes to prepare a pitch of how that idea would be a good movie. The goal of this pitch is to get funding from a producer, so it should be about the movie's appeal and viability.

After the two minutes of prep, students will give a 3-minute pitch. After the three minutes, they will have two minutes for a question and answer period from the other competitors. Competitors must be called on by the speaker and may only ask questions printed on the cards they received at the beginning of the round. When a student asks a question, they should discard that card and pick up another one (so there is always 3 in their hand).
