This track is intended for students who have at least one year of debate experience and plan to pursue Policy or Lincoln-Douglas debate this year. | |

Description | Students will learn how to operate the Verbatim software, which is a tool that helps orgnanize arguments and evidence. Verbatim significantly speeds up the research process, as well as the process of constructing speech and evidence documents during a debate. |

Description | Students will learn about the open caselist wiki, where evidence is published after each debate. It is helpful to know what arguments other schools are utilizing in order to prepare responses to the most common arguments on a given topic. Students will also learn how to publish to the wiki. |

Description | Critical Arguments, or "Kritiks" are arguments that test the underlying assumptions of an affirmative. These strategies typically only appear in Policy and LD debate at the intermediate and advanced levels, and students will learn about the format and structure of these arguments. |
