Event Description:

Impromptu:

  • 7 minutes long speech with a 30 second long grace period before and after where no points are deducted.

  • The student can take as much prep as they want (within the 7 minutes), but it's normally 2 minutes of prep and a 5 minute speech.

  • A person can pick from 3 topics what to speak on.

  • After prep a student should not use their notes.
