Event Description:

Resolution

• Resolution: The resolution will be the NSDA Resolution for the month in which the competition occurs. Each entry will debate both sides of the resolution. No substitution is permitted once the tournament has begun.

Prompting

• Oral Prompting: Except for time signals, oral prompting by anyone is strongly discouraged and may be penalized by some judges. Debaters may refer to their notes and materials and consult with their teammate while they do not have the floor.

Timing

• Timekeeping: The judge will determine how time is kept.
